About the event
Vision - to empower young wo/men to gain a better understanding of self by enhancing personal and professional development. While seeking to find identity, many problems that could have been resolved by self-reflection end up being not only unresolved but compounded with unnecessary punitive consequences. Kingdom Empowerment Inc. provides youth with tools to live a more disciplined & focused lifestyle to impact our community in a positive manner.
We currently provide the following services:
RAM program: 10-week program of structured sessions to delve into a range of topics (the wo/men we are, influencers, roles, expectations, stress management, wellness, personal value, & life planning). RAM Program Structure:
- Physical fitness sessions (1 hour)
- Group mentorship: youth are paired with a mentor/facilitator within the structure of our program. Biannually, a potential mentor is identified from RAM graduates and “groomed” for transition into a facilitator role. (1 hour)
Think Tank: Select graduates are enrolled into a “think tank” as an advisory board member to develop initiatives to impact youth (career days, fundraisers, pamphlets).
Writing project: Book project “The Truth We Told Ourselves.”
We currently serve youth 12-21 residing in Dauphin, Cumberland, & York Counties. Family members are encouraged to participate with youth.
